Option to Specify Fitment on All Makes/Models for Custom Accessories
For items like window tint or paint protection that is offered on every vehicle, allow a selection to make it globally available for all existing vehicles and further vehicles. Currently you have to manually select every Make in the list to add and then keep track of new models/model years as they’re released to add them.

Unselect Items when Submitting Orders
When submitting an order, allow for the sales manager to unselect items so that they do not get sent to service. Items like floor mats, cargo trays, etc. may have been provided at time of sale and not need to be included when the client comes back to have other accessories installed.

Custom Statuses for Orders
It would be helpful to allow dealers to create custom statuses beyond just “submitted, acknowledged, fulfilled” to help manage each individual order and search through orders by status. A dealer may have multiple schedulers, multiple parts managers, etc. who share the workload of checking parts availability/checking service availability/ordering parts/scheduling when updates occur and many of these updates fall outside the existing two statuses. From a management standpoint it would help in managing pending accessory installations and knowing where to dig into the process if there is unrealized profit for the service department.

Consolidated Accessories Commission Report
We are requesting the addition of a consolidated, web‑based accessories commission report within the Insignia Accessories System. Our dealership pays accessories commission monthly, and this is our first month live on Insignia. We were surprised to discover that the only available commission reporting is a by‑item Excel export ONLY, with no summarized or roll‑up view of commission totals. Current Limitation At present: Commission data can only be exported line‑by‑line per accessory item There is no web‑based report that summarizes commission There is no way to group total commission by sales consultant There is no total commission amount calculated for a given time period For a dealership processing end‑of‑month payroll, this requires manual Excel manipulation, introduces risk of errors, and is not operationally sustainable. Requested Feature A web‑based consolidated commission report that includes: Date range selection Fulfilled / installed status filtering Grouping by sales consultant Total commission calculated per consultant Optional export to Excel or PDF (summary level) Coming from Add On Auto, and previously General Motors’ Accessory Solution, this type of consolidated commission reporting is considered baseline functionality in dealership accessories platforms. Given Insignia’s positioning as an industry‑leading accessories solution, it is genuinely surprising that such a fundamental payroll and management report does not currently exist. Accessories commission reporting is not an edge case—it is a core dealership accounting and payroll function. A consolidated commission report is essential for efficient operations and should be available directly within the Insignia web interface. We strongly encourage Insignia to prioritize this enhancement.

Enhance the 3D rendering.
Give the user an ability to zoom in on the accessory for a closer look, pan around the vehicle for a more in depth view, or even click on a piece of the vehicle to show the available accessory options for the vehicle. Currently the 3D visualizer is nice to show some accessories, but some accessories cannot even be seen on the visualizer (even though they have a preview). This can be best seen when selecting a soft roll up tonneau cover for a 5th Gen Ram 1500. Allowing users to be able to pan via click and drag the image around or zoom in/re-view the accessory can help customers better see what it will look like on their vehicle. This feature goes along with a possible ability to operate components of the vehicle or select different views from the 3D visualizer. Remember “Seeing is believing” with many customers today. Lastly allowing the ability to click on, lets say, a side step to view a photo gallery of a real life photo, will be a perfect example for customers to “visualize” this on their vehicle. This last option is especially helpful to the accessories that there are no previews for or no catalog photos (custom accessories) and the works.

Add Ability to Create Custom Accessories During Presentation
Can we add a feature that allows users to create and add a custom accessory during the presentation process, even if the accessory is not currently in the catalog? Our previous system included a “miscellaneous” accessory option, which allowed us to add items on the spot with a custom description and price. This made it easy to accommodate customer request for accessories that were not in our catalog. For example, if we sell a Toyota Tundra and the customer wants to add power running boards that are not offered by the manufacturer or listed in the catalog, we should be able to create the accessory, assign a price, and include it in the deal immediately. This would allow us to sell the accessory during the presentation and source the product afterwards. This functionality can improve flexibility and may prevent delays caused by catalog limitations. It would be very helpful across our 8 locations, as salespeople are frequently asked about custom accessories and whether that option is available.

Restyler Pricing option for Outsourced Installed Accessories
Dealers would like to build custom accessories that they outsource to Restylers and still show the profit report in their system. They would like the option to price the accessory with a 0 profit to parts and service. This would mean that the sales team gets the profit and pays commission from that. The idea is to be able to price it as a restyler accessory. The dealer will build the accessory and sets the ‘Cost’ to Parts and/OR Sales (and bypass other departments). They would also need the option to add profit splits between departments when they include one or all. Basically the fields would be: List (Retail) Price; Cost; “Do you send this to a restyler for installation? If yes, choose the department that receives credit.” (checkboxes); Labor breakdown (same as it is now) Please let me know if you need more details.

Restrict Sales Managers' ability to create or modify logins including their own.
Sales managers can change roles and permissions, including their own. While Sales Mgrs credentials don't allow for changing pricing directly, they DO allow for changing roles and permissions. They can access their own credentials to change pricing by going to Roles and Permissions and checking the box. We need to adjust these settings so Sales Managers are only able to adjust Roles and Permissions for associates below their level.

Sales Tax
It would be great if there was a sales tax spot that could be added to the set up page. Those of us that want to use it could easily fill in our county and/or state sales tax percentage and check a box if sales tax needs to be calculated on labor also.

Reformat Auto-Notification Email
Is there a way to make a change to the Auto-Notification email template? It would be very helpful to have the notes section to stand out more, like to highlight the comments or make them bold? We would like those comments to stand out more for easier communication. Let me know what is possible here. Thanks, Zak

Add/Remove Installation on Existing Order
It would be nice if Parts Admins could edit all parts/labor on orders. Often times customers change their mind or want to add/remove labor for items. Especially when there are different options of the same type of accessory and they picked the wrong one so then you have to create a whole new order to make it correct. Parts admins should be able to completely edit parts on orders. It would cut down on mistakes and also give the ability to add more accessories when the customers makes contact with the Parts Department.
