Custom Accessories Pricing & Reporting

Part Builder Accessories don’t report correctly in dealer systems due to the lack of necessary information such as MSRP and labor rates.

Most of our dealers use the MSRP pricing rules, which will calculate as a loss in profit on custom accessories. They have to try changing the retail prices, cost to dealer, or labor times to match the reporting as closely as possible. This is time-consuming, and some will just give up and ignore those items in reports.

Dealers have also requested the ability to add:

• MSRP

• Internal and External labor rates

• Colors or color chiclets (to match the current ones in their brand)

• Part Dependencies

• Discontinued & Supersessions

Dealer Success believes that the Part Builder in Maintenance would work because the rules for reporting are going to be the same.

Could Part Builder in Admin mimic Maintenance and add labor rates as well? This option would then be a good baseline to upgrade at a later date for other FeatureBase Requests.
